Description The Vignerons D’ Estézargues cooperative takes a unique approach to winemaking compared to other coops. In the early 1990’s they broke the mould by vinifying grapes from different plots separately, making single cuvées from their best vineyards. A move to natural winemaking soon followed; their wines do not have commercial yeasts added, are not filtered or fined, there is no addition of SO₂ before bottling and no enzymes are added onto the grapes in winemaking…possibly the only cooperative in the world working this way. The nose has typical garrigue notes from the area, with ripe red and dark fruits and hints of white pepper. The mouth has layers of flavours; dark fruits, leather, tobacco, cassis and spice. Soft in the mouth with a nice spine of acidity and velvety tannins.
