Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis: Animals

$39.87 $59.81
Description Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is a non-invasive test that measures the levels of nutrients and toxic metals found in the hair. It can detect an excess or deficiency of nutrient minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium and zinc. It can also identify over exposure to toxic metals such as arsenic, aluminium, cadium and lead. This test provides reliable clinical data on 32 nutrient and toxic minerals, 27 significant mineral ratios and a comprehensive interpretive report. Many people and animals have nutritional deficiencies or imbalances from poor quality foods, etc. Our food today is not as mineral rich as it used to be due to the heavy use of artificial fertilizers and chemicals. Ensure you and your animals have the right mineral balance for optimum health. Hair Mineral Analysis: Animals tests for the following: Nutritional elements tested: Boron (additional charge), Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Copper, Zinc, Phosphorus, Iron, Manganese, Chromium, Selenium, Cobalt, Molydenum, Sulfur. Toxic elements tested: Uranium, Arsenic, Beryllium, Mercury, Cadium, Lead, Aluminium. Additional elements tested: Gemanium, Barium, Bismuth, Rubidum, Lithium, Nickel, Platinum, Thalium, Vanadium, Stronitum, Tin, Titanium, Tungsten, Zirconium. Instructions: Please complete the online form and send a hair/fur sample (at least 1 tablespoon of hair) to Greenpet along with your name, animal’s name and order number: Greenpet Reception 244 Verrierdale Road Verrierdale QLD 4562 How To take a hair sample Ensure that the hair has been washed thoroughly, untreated, rinsed completely and dried. Cut the hair close to the skin in a few small portions and from several areas on the back of the neck. Cut the hair as close to the skin as possible. Scissors should be a high grade stainless steel or plastic to avoid contamination. How much hair? Your hair or fur is a timeline.  Your most accurate health is displayed close to the skin. To ensure we calculate your most accurate health status, ensure you cut a large enough fur sample; that is taken close to the skin. (you do not need to pull the hair out by roots).  The length of hair should be no longer than 5cm or 1.5″ long and no less than a heaped teaspoon. For horses, if using mane hair, cut close to the skin and trim the length off so that it is only up to 5cm long. For dogs or cats with short coats, ensure you trim enough fur to be a tablespoon. Images displayed on the item outline the ideal location for hair collection for all species.   Enough hair Enough hair Not enough hair Not enough hair     Once we receive the sample it will be sent off to the lab for testing. Results can take up to 4 weeks. Once we receive the results, you will receive a hardcopy of the full report via post. This will include your animals mineral balance, mineral ratios, etc and suggestions on how to overcome any imbalances or deficiencies if needed. If you have any questions about this test, please do not hesitate to contact us.
