Description The grapes are from the clay and ironstone pebbly soils prevalent on the McHenry Hohnen Vineyards south of Margaret River. With a northerly aspect, the vines enjoy long days of sunshine, moderated by the vineyard’s southern location. Made with minimal additives, this bold natural wine is unfined and unfiltered. Each variety contributes to a complete wine, far exceeding the sum of the individual parts. An intense and fragrant mix of violet, blueberry and black olives, with underlying bitter cocoa dust. This wine offers a complex palate brimming with dark fruits and sweet spice with firm tannins and an impressive finish.
