Description Martin Meinert is decended from a family of printers who have a rich history of printing in Namibia. This is where the wine draws it’s name and Meinert Wine’s eagle logo has been borrowed from the German Master Guild of Printers. The estate in Devon Valley was purchased by Martin in 1987. In the ensuing years he has expanded the vineyards to cover 16 hectares and undertaken a project to replace the existing vines which took over 19 years to complete. Vibrant Pinotage, the South African grape variety, here packed with black fruit – blackberry, black plum, blueberry – overlaid with a scattering of spice.
