Description Fowles embodies an inherent respect for the environment with generations of knowledge and a passion to improve farming practices. The rugged and beautiful Strathbogie Ranges are located an hour and a half drive northeast of Melbourne. It is here, in vineyards peppered with massive ancient granite boulders, at elevations between 430 and 550 metres above sea level that the grapes are grown. Pinot Noir with a leavening dash of Mourvèdre from Victoria, south-east Australia, delivering baskets of cherry and strawberry to the mouth, complemented by bracken, fresh earth and a touch of oak on the nose.
