Description ‘Making wines with passion’ is the moto for this 3rd generation family run winery which underpins everything that they do. Their ingrained respect for the land, the indigenous vines and their ambition, sing. The vines selected for this wines are an impressive 70 years old, bringing depth, sophistication and structure to this remarkable wine. After a fermentation in (used) French oak barrels, the wine is then left for another 24months to mature. Finally, after bottling, it then benefits from a further 12 months ageing before release. The result is a sophisticated, powerful, full-bodied wine that creates a harmonious and well-balanced flavour on the palate. Sweet, rich aromas with notes of ripe fruits and spices. Generous on the palate with complex, plush tannins.
