The 16S/17S Flush Front plate is a replacement that eliminates the two sling tabs that protrude from the front of the SCAR 16S/17S receiver. The original font plate can get in the way of a secure grip with your support hand, especially after upgrading to a more ergonomic forend. The original front plate can also interfere with light or laser mounting locations. The Rego flush front plate solves both of those issues. **This Flush Front Plate is compatible with the SMR-9, SMR-11, or SMR-13 forends, and is only needed if you are not purchasing the RE-11 or RE-13 Receiver Extension. The RE-11 & RE-13 kits already come a new front flush plate that is used for mounting of the picatinny extension.** The plate is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and hardcoat anodized in Black. Sold individually. Compatible with both the Reciprocating Charging Handle (RCH) and the newer Non-Reciprocating Charging Handle (NRCH) SCAR 16S /17S .
